Eleven Sports picks up Championship rights in Portugal

International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports has acquired exclusive rights in Portugal to the Championship, the second tier of English club football.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was signed in time for coverage of the season-opener for the 2019-20 Championship.

Eleven Sports broadcast Luton Town’s 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough on Friday evening and is set to offer five games per round of fixtures.
