Eleven strikes late deal for Pyeongchang 2018 rights in Singapore

International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports has acquired rights in Singapore to the 2018 winter Olympic Games, ensuring that the country’s debut at the event will be covered live.

The agreement with the International Olympic Committee announced today (Thursday) will see Eleven present Pyeongchang 2018 through its linear services, along with offering web, app, and social media content totalling approximately 20 hours per day.

All Pyeongchang 2018 coverage on Eleven in Singapore will be available for free via www.elevensports.sg with a special Pyeongchang 2018 Pass.

As the official Pyeongchang 2018 broadcast partner, Eleven will also provide extended coverage of the Games with seven channels available via telco Singtel, as well as coverage via media group Mediacorp’s Toggle and oktoSports platforms, bringing a total of 60 hours of extended coverage daily.

Pyeongchang 2018 will be the first ever winter Games in which a Singaporean athlete will compete, with Cheyenne Goh set to race in short track speed skating.

Eleven will also provide live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies, daily highlights, Goh’s events, as well as other selected sports via Facebook Live on the ElevenSportsSG Facebook page.
