Telecommunications company Emtel has signed a multi-year partnership with Manchester United to broadcast the in-house television channel of the English Premier League football club, MUTV, in Mauritius.
As the club’s first official triple play and MUTV broadcaster in the country, Emtel will stream Manchester United content across television, mobile and internet platforms in conjunction with pay-television broadcaster and operator, Canal Plus and Canalsat.
Established in 1989, Emtel was the first mobile network operator in the whole of the southern hemisphere and becomes United’s first commercial partner in the region.
