US pay-television broadcaster ESPN has extended a rights deal for the 2015 edition of the annual Collegiate Bowl American football game.
The ESPN2 channel will show live coverage of the game on January 17, 2015, with sister channel ESPNU showing live coverage of the team practice sessions ahead of the match-up at California State University.
ESPN struck the deal with the NFL Players’ Association, which organises the game between the American Team and National Team.
