ESPN to broadcast World T20 final in US

US sports broadcaster ESPN will broadcast live coverage of the final of the 2014 World Twenty20 international cricket tournament on its ESPN 2 cable and satellite television channel.

The match, which concludes the fourth edition of the global competition that gets under way in Bangladesh later this month, will air at 9am ET on Sunday, April 6.

ESPN’s multi-screen online streaming service, ESPN3, will show all matches from the World T20 plus four warm-up games and the semi-finals and final of the Women’s World Twenty20, which runs concurrently alongside the men’s tournament.

ESPN3 will also carry studio programming from its sister network ESPN Caribbean and a 30-minute highlights wrap on games days. Each match will be available for replay shortly after its conclusion on ESPN3, with highlights from India v Pakistan, West Indies v India and the final available on ESPN TV On Demand.
