Pay-television broadcaster ESPN International has said its entire output will be broadcast in high-definition across Latin America from 2015.
From January, video-on-demand service ESPN Play will also provide its entire output in HD, ESPN said at its upfront presentation in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
ESPN added that its 2015 content will include 15 football leagues, such as the English Premier League and Spanish Liga; the 2015 Rugby World Cup; North American basketball league the NBA and tennis’ four grand slams and men’s ATP World Tour Masters 1000 top-tier tournaments.
