Euroleague Basketball has partnered with Spanish media company AS in an agreement that makes AS.com the official online destination in Spanish for the Euroleague continental club competition.
New content hosted in a special section of AS.com will allow Spanish speakers to follow the Euroleague with the latest video highlights, news articles, player and team information, interviews, real-time live statistics and photos.
The agreement has been signed ahead of this week’s Final Four event in which Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona will meet in the semi-finals on Friday. AS.com will then offer a new and expanded site to cover the Euroleague from the 2014-15 season.
Euroleague Basketball’s partnership with AS represents its latest agreement with a media outlet in a key market. The organisation already holds similar contracts with Sport24.gr in Greece and Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy.
