Ukrainian cable television operator Volia has agreed a carriage deal with international sports broadcaster Eurosport.
Volia will begin to broadcast the Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and Eurosport 1 HD channels in Ukraine on May 1.
Volia’s partnership was praised by Ukrainian Olympic Committee president Sergey Bubka who said in a statement: “This will provide fans with a good opportunity to support Ukrainian athletes during competitions at a European and world level. This will increase the sense of patriotism, will spotlight significant achievements of the country and motivate engagement in physical culture and sports.”
