Eurosport France remains on board with MotoGP

Eurosport France, the French arm of pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport, has agreed a three-year contract extension to be the exclusive broadcaster of the MotoGP motorcycling series in the French territory until the end of the 2017 season.

Under the deal with Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holder of MotoGP, Eurosport France will broadcast all practice, qualifying and race sessions of the series’ three world championship classes live on Eurosport and Eurosport 2.

This will be supplemented by coverage on Eurosport’s website and mobile and tablet apps. Eurosport Player will feature MotoGP’s multi-feed coverage, with a total of seven channels – four on-board channels, a helicopter feed, live tracking and live timing feeds – on offer in addition to the regular programme feed.

France hosts its annual MotoGP grand prix from May 16-18 at Le Mans.
