Eurosport lands exclusive rights to UCI Hour Record attempt

Pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport is to broadcast live coverage of Dutch cyclist Thomas Dekker’s attempt to break the International Cycling Union’s (UCI) Hour Record.

Eurosport will broadcast coverage on its Eurosport 2 channel throughout its 70 markets across the Europe and Asia-Pacific regions, as well live streaming the event via its Eurosport Player online subscription service.

Dekker will cycle as far as possible in just one hour. He will be the third rider this year to attempt to break the record of 52.491km set by Rohan Dennis earlier this month.

The UCI Hour record attempt will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) at 19:30CET at the El Velodrome de Tres Centurias de Aguascaliente in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
