Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport has renewed its multi-year carriage agreement with Cypriot cable-television broadcaster Cablenet.
Cablenet will continue to distribute the Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels to all its subscribers, as well as Eurosport HD to customers of the cableview HD channel bouquet.
Events that will be broadcast via the Eurosport channels include grand slam tennis in the form of the Australian Open, French Open and US Open tournaments, as well as cycling’s Tour de France.
The length of the deal was not disclosed.
