International sports broadcaster Eurosport has entered into an agreement with the International Federation of Sport Climbing to begin broadcasting its monthly highlights programme in the Asia-Pacific region.
IFSC Climbing Monthly is already shown in various regions around the world, with the new deal expanding its reach by an additional 47 territories to a total of 135 countries.
The programme includes a round-up of IFSC World Cup and World Championship events in lead, speed and boulder disciplines, as well as athlete profiles and other features.
The show is distributed worldwide by the Broadreach Media agency, which acts as the IFSC’s exclusive media partner.
Other broadcasters that show the programme include Australian pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports and Irish pay-television broadcaster Setanta Sports.t
