English football’s Premier League has agreed rights deals with the Saran Media and MP & Silva agencies covering a swathe of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Saran, which is based in Turkey, acquired rights for a group of territories including the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and Commonwealth of Independent States territories such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
MP & Silva acquired the rights in Ukraine.
The deals cover the 2013-14 to 2015-16 seasons.
Both agencies are understood to have faced rival bids for their rights from other agencies.
The Advisers Media International agency holds the rights in the current cycle, 2010-11 to 2012-13, for the territories covered by the latest deals.
