Fanatiz picks up Conmebol club competition rights in US, Canada

Football streaming service Fanatiz has reached an agreement with the MP & Silva agency for rights in the US and Canada to the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana club competitions.

Fanatiz will stream live coverage of all matches from both competitions, which are organised by the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol).

In the US, a total of 40 Copa Libertadores matches and 30 Copa Sudamericana matches will be exclusive to Fanatiz. The service will have exclusive rights to all matches in Canada.

The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, makes Fanatiz the only broadcaster offering all matches from the tournaments live in the US and Canada. MP & Silva acquired the OTT rights to the competitions from US network Fox.

A Fanatiz subscription costs $9.99 (€8.10) per month with a 14-day free trial. All matches will be available via www.fanatiz.com, as well as through the service’s Apple and Android apps.
