World football’s governing body Fifa has launched an invitation to tender in France for the broadcast rights to the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
The tournament will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand and will take place in nine host cities and 10 stadia across the two countries from July 20 to August 20 next year. The tournament will also be the first edition of the women’s national team showpiece to feature 32 teams after Fifa’s July 2019 decision to expand the event.
