International combat sports channel Fight Network has acquired rights in Italy for the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series.
Fight Network will deliver a variety of programming to audiences in the country via digital terrestrial television platform Channel 62.
The deal includes rights to preliminary fights at UFC pay-per-view events, as well as UFC Fight Night events and reality series ‘The Ultimate Fighter’.
Fight Network will also show all UFC pay-per-view events on a 30-day delay.
Coverage began in the early hours of today (Monday) with a live broadcast of ‘UFC Fight Night Stephens vs. Choi’.
