Media company CSI Sports, the owner of international pay-television channel Fight Sports, has acquired live rights for the upcoming Canelo Alvarez v Amir Khan fight.
The exclusive rights for the middleweight world title fight, which will take place on May 7 in Las Vegas, will cover more than 40 markets across the world.
As part of the deal, Fight Sports will show a series of programmes featuring the boxers’ previous fights and six episodes following their preparations for this event.
The rights will be exploited in multiple languages and in markets such as Germany, Spain, the Nordic and Baltic territories, Italy and throughout Asia.
