Fight Sports rounds off year with rights additions

Fight Sports, the linear sports channel and digital service, has acquired rights to three more world championship boxing events.

On Saturday, Fight Sports will showcase Canelo Álvarez’s move to the super middleweight division as he takes on WBA title-holder Rocky Fielding at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Through the agreement, Fight Sports will broadcast the event in countries that include Spain, Portugal, India, and several territories throughout Asia.

For the following weekend, Fight Sports has acquired rights to two major events taking place in England on December 22.

Dillian Whyte will take on Dereck Chisora in a heavyweight rematch at the The O2 arena in London, with the winner well-positioned for a shot at Anthony Joshua’s world titles.

On the same night, Josh Warrington and Carl Frampton meet for the IBF featherweight world championship at Manchester Arena in a showdown of two of the top fighters in the division.
