FIS to stream freestyle and snowboard showpiece on YouTube

The FIS, the global governing body of skiing, is to stream live coverage of its 2015 Freestyle and Snowboard World Championships on video-sharing website YouTube.

Coverage will be available free-of-charge via the official FIS YouTube channels.

The live broadcasts will encompass all 24 Freestyle and Snowboard World Championships finals in full length.

Coverage will be accessible in all markets around the world with the exception of host country Austria and other territories where exclusive media rights agreements are in place.

The streaming service will be provided by the Infront Sports & Media agency, the FIS’s exclusive media rights partner for the event.

The Championships will take place in Kreischberg, Austria from January 15-25, 2015.
