FloSports acquires exclusive 2019 rights to London Marathon in selected territories

OTT platform FloSports has acquired exclusive live and on-demand rights to the 2019 London Marathon across Europe, Asia, Canada and Australia.

The rights in Europe exclude the UK, Ireland and Italy, while the Asia rights exclude China and Japan.

The deal with London Marathon Events was agreed in collaboration with TCB Sport Media, which has international distribution rights to the event until 2020.

FloSports will exploit the rights on its FloTrack platform.

This year’s London Marathon will be held on April 28.

FloSports announced last month a deal for live and on-demand coverage of the 2019 Boston Marathon in over 40 European countries.
