Fox Sports’ Argentinian Primera División contract ended

The Argentinian Football Association (AFA) and the newly-created Professional Football League (LPF) have cancelled pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports’ rights agreement for the Primera División, the top tier of domestic football in the South American nation.

Action has been taken amid discontent over the outcome of the Disney media group’s acquisition of Fox’s parent company, 21st Century Fox, in 2019, reports La Nacion newspaper.
