Fox Sports Asia, the regional subsidiary of 21st Century Fox’s broadcast arm Fox International Channels, is to rebrand its portfolio of channels.
The Fox Sports, Fox Sports Plus HD and Star Sports channels will be rebranded as Fox Sports, Fox Sports 2 and Fox Sports 3 on August 15.
The rebrand will take effect in all Asian countries in which Fox Sports channels are available, with the exception of China and South Korea where the Star Sports brand will remain in place.
The Fox Sports News and Fox Football Channel HD channels will remain unchanged, as will the Fox Sports Play and Fox Sports Mobile streaming platforms.
To support the relaunch, Fox Sports Asia has constructed a new studio in Singapore. The facility features a video wall, a 95-inch touchscreen and a 1,100-square-foot virtual studio.
