Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports has agreed a four-season extension to its exclusive rights in Italy to the Bundesliga, the top division of German football.
The deal covers the 2017-18 to 2020-21 seasons of the Bundesliga and includes on-demand, mobile and online rights.
The Bundesliga will continue in Fox Sports’ club football portfolio, which also includes the Spanish Liga, Dutch Eredivisie and English FA Cup competition.
The agreement comes with Italian Carlo Ancelotti having been hired as the new coach of Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich.
