France Télévisions sublicences domestic handball rights

French public-service broadcaster France Télévisions acquired rights for the Ligue Nationale de Handball (LNH), the domestic handball league, in a sublicensing agreement with pay-television operator Canal Plus.

France Télévisions will broadcast between six and 12 matches per season, on the France 3 channel, between now and the end of the 2014-15 season. Canal Plus won the rights to the LNH earlier this year, agreeing a four-year deal with the league, covering the 2011-12 to 2014-15 period.
