Globo ‘nets’ Women’s World Cup rights in Brazil

Brazilian media group Globo is reported to have secured exclusive rights to the 2023 Fifa Women's World Cup.

Globo intends to show multiple matches on free-to-air television, including those of the Brazilian national team, according to Noticias da TV, the Brazilian media website. Matches will also be aired on the Globo-owned pay-television channel SporTV, it is claimed.
