Globo picks up pay-television rights to Formula E

Brazilian media group Globo has acquired pay-television rights to electric motor racing’s Formula E, boosting the rights-holder’s exposure in the South American country following a free-to-air deal with commercial broadcaster TV Cultura.

Globo will exploit its rights on its SporTV pay-television operation and will broadcast every race and all qualifying rounds of its rights on the channel.
