North American pay-television channel Gol TV agreed a three-year deal, from 2012 to 2014, with the Kentaro agency for rights in the US and Canada to a number of international football matches, including the next 10 matches of the Brazil national team’s world tour and qualifying games for the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
The World Cup qualifiers included in the package feature the national teams of Germany, Sweden, Republic of Ireland, Austria and Norway. The deal also includes rights to some club matches.
