US pay-television channel GolTV has acquired rights for the Taca de Portugal domestic club football knockout competition.
The deal will run for two years, from 2015 to 2016, and will cover every round, including the final.
Coverage of the competition will be broadcast live on GolTV.
The deal will expand GolTV’s coverage of Portuguese club football after the channel last year signed a rights agreement with Benfica to broadcast all of the Primeira Liga team's home games in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
