Argentinian state-owned broadcaster Canal 7 acquired rights for the International Hockey Federation’s women’s Champions Trophy, which will take place in Rosario, Argentina from January 28 to February 5.
Canal 7 will broadcast live coverage of matches involving the Argentinian national team, beginning with their opening match against New Zealand. Coverage will be available in high definition.
Argentina’s listed-events legislation lays down that all national team games in all sports, including friendly matches, have to be shown on free-to-air television.
