Hong Kong pay-television provider Now TV has announced it will launch a dedicated horse racing channel on February 2.
The channel, entitled Now668, will launch to coincide with the Chinese New Year Raceday and will broadcast all local races and selected overseas races from the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
Starting from February 2 to the end of the current racing season, Now TV customers will be provided with the channel on a free trial basis.
Now668 will also come accompanied by dedicated live streaming and video-on-demand services via the Now Player and Now Select platforms.
In addition to live races, Now668 will also broadcast a series of lead-in and support programming such as trackwork analysis, racing reviews and various race related data and statistics.
