New ice hockey-dedicated online channel IceTimeTV has agreed its first major partnership by teaming up with British Elite Ice Hockey League club Cardiff Devils.
The Devils have been chosen to launch the platform with IceTimeTV set to serve as the Welsh club’s headline sponsor for the 2015-16 season.
As well as receiving logo placement on the front of Cardiff’s jersey, IceTimeTV will make a substantial investment in the club’s video production and livestream facility in order to maximise exposure and news coverage, further broadening the reach of the Devils.
IceTimeTV is set to provide live streaming of Devils games, along with servicing in-arena television screens and introducing on-demand content and weekly behind the scenes shows from all areas of the Cardiff Devils.
IceTimeTV co-founder Dan Lewis said: “We believe that by working with the Cardiff Devils we can build an exciting channel for its fans and help grow the fanbase for the Devils and for UK ice hockey in general.
“We are investing in this product because we believe that ice hockey has an ever-growing fanbase and technology can play a big part in the fan engagement aspect of the sport. We love what some teams are doing around the league already and we want to make the Devils experience the best it can be.”
