IMG extends BBC snooker production contract

The IMG agency has extended a deal with the BBC to continue producing the UK public-service broadcaster’s coverage of snooker.

The deal will run from three years, from 2015 to 2017, and will cover the World Championship, Masters and UK Championship, all of which take place in the UK.

IMG has also agreed an additional two-year deal to produce coverage of the Welsh Open snooker tournament for the broadcaster’s BBC Wales national division.

IMG first entered into a partnership with the BBC in 1997.
