The IMG Events & Media agency has agreed a deal to become the exclusive distributor of Barça TV, the official club television channel of Spanish Liga football club Barcelona.
The deal will run for three seasons, from 2015-16 to 2017-18. IMG will distribute the channel worldwide, with the exception of Spain and the US.
IMG struck the deal with Spanish telco Telefónica, which will continue to produce two weekly blocks of three-hour programming per season.
IMG previously distributed the channel from 2006 until 2010.
