Infront acquires stake in Cape Town Marathon as WMM status targeted

The Infront agency has acquired a stake in the Cape Town Marathon, through which it will market media rights and sponsorship packages for the race.

The Cape Town Marathon yesterday (Tuesday) became an official candidate to join the World Marathon Majors series of races and also serves as a qualifier for the Age Group World Rankings. The race was awarded the World Athletics Gold label in 2020, becoming the only African marathon to do so.
