The Infront Sports & Media agency has extended rights agreements with German public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF for International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup events.
The five-year deal runs from 2016-17 to 2020-21 and covers all audio-visual rights in Germany.
The agreement grants ARD and ZDF rights to over 200 FIS World Cup events per season across the alpine, cross-country, Nordic combined, ski jumping, snowboard and freestyle skiing disciplines.
The deal, which Infront struck with SportA, the sports rights agency of ARD and ZDF, also includes online and mobile rights.
