Infront extends rights for Germany’s FIS World Cup events

The Infront Sports & Media agency has retained the international media rights to all International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup events taking place in Germany until the 2020-21 season under a renewed agreement with the German Ski Association (DSV).

The contract includes rights to approximately 25 annual FIS World Cup events held in Germany across the disciplines of alpine skiing, ski jumping, cross-country, Nordic combined, freestyle skiing and snowboard.

This includes the showpiece ski jumping events of the Vierschanzentournee, otherwise known as the Four Hills Tournament, and the FIS Alpine Downhill Skiing meet in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The DSV will continue to market the media rights for the German market independently.

Infront’s extension with the DSV retains the agency’s collective marketing approach for FIS World Cup events. With the exception of Austria, the agency markets international media rights for all national ski associations that host the meetings.
