Infront Italy sees turnover fall, profits rise

The Italian division of the Infront Sports & Media agency has recorded a drop in turnover, but has seen its net profits rise by over 50 per cent.

The Calcio e Finanza website said Infront Italy’s financial statements for 2016 detailed that turnover fell from €259m ($301.5m) to €247.3m. However, net profit increased from €6.1m to €9.27m.

Earlier this month, Infront and Lega Serie A, the organising body of the top division of Italian club football, launched an international media rights sales process for the three seasons spanning 2018-19 to 2020-21.

The Lega and its advisor, Infront, published the invitation to tender for international audio-visual rights to Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana. All offers must be received by September 15 at 5pm CET.
