Inter Milan targets Indonesian market with Indosat partnership

Italian Serie A football team Inter Milan has entered into a partnership with Indonesian telecommunications company Indosat for carriage of its club television channel.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but interviews, press conferences, exclusive training-ground footage, archive images and live updates will be provided by Inter Channel reporters – all in English with Indonesian subtitles.

Inter Channel will provide four daily updates to Indosat customers on smartphone and tablet devices. Indosat is the second-biggest mobile phone operator in Indonesia with over 70 million customers. Inter is owned by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir.
