ISSF chief confirms live coverage of World Championship

International Shooting Sport Federation secretary general Franz Schreiber has confirmed that live coverage will be available for all 15 Olympic shooting events during the 2014 ISSF World Championship.

Coverage of all 15 events in the rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines will be produced and distributed by Eurovision, the production division of the European Broadcasting Union consortium of free-to-air broadcasters.

“We will offer the coverage of all Olympic qualifier finals via the EBU, for technical costs only,” Schreiber said. “Our member federations can contact their national broadcasters, to inform them that the footage will be available on the Eurovision platform.”

The championship will take place from September 6-20 in Granada, Spain.
