ITN Productions has appointed Sam Leadsom as head of host broadcasting and Mark Fulton as executive producer, athletics.
Leadsom (pictured) joins the company from Fox Sports Asia, the regional subsidiary of 21st Century Fox’s broadcast arm, Fox Networks Group, where he led production in Asia for four years.
Previously, Leadsom spent 20 years with the IMG Media agency as executive producer, Premier League Productions, and also had spells with UK-based broadcasters Sky, the BBC and ITV. Leadsom will begin his new role in January.
Meanwhile, Fulton has 30 years’ experience as a producer and director and has worked across a number of major sports events including the Olympic Games, football’s Fifa World Cup and the International Association of Athletics Federation’s (IAAF) World Championships.
The appointments come after the IAAF in August appointed ITN Productions as its partner in a new joint venture for host broadcasting and media production.
