UK commercial broadcaster ITV has acquired rights for events operated by the Professional Darts Corporation.
Under a three-year deal, to run from 2013 to 2015, ITV will show the annual European Championship and Players Championship finals as well as the UK Open and a new event, the Masters, which will feature 16 of the sport’s best players.
The rights will be exploited on digital-terrestrial channel ITV4.
