The K-1 kickboxing organisation has signed a two-year global broadcast rights distribution partnership with the Fighting Spirit agency.
Hong Kong-based K-1 has staged around 400 live events in 38 countries since its formation in 1993 and its 2014 calendar is due to comprise more than 12 events, with shows currently scheduled in the US, Europe and China.
The agreement with Fighting Spirit, which specialises in combat sports, is effective for 2014 and 2015.
K-1 owner Mike Kim said: “This distribution deal brings K-1 the right partner to be back at the right position – as the market leader.”
