Telco Econet Media has launched its Kwesé Free Sports free-to-air channel in Nigeria and Uganda.
Audiences in Nigeria will be able to access Kwesé on digital-terrestrial television in Abuja and on a free-to-air analogue basis in Lagos.
Viewers across the country can also download the Kwesé mobile app to Android and iOS devices.
Meanwhile, Kwesé will be available to viewers in Uganda on a free-to-air basis.
Audiences in the country can access the channel through any free-to-air set-top box.
In addition to Nigeria and Uganda, Kwesé is available in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi and Rwanda, with plans to launch in Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Tanzania and Zambia. The channel offers coverage of major sports events such as football’s English Premier League and the NFL American football league.
