Italian commercial broadcaster La7 has acquired rights for the 2015 Spanish Supercopa season-opening football contest.
The exclusive deal was agreed with the B4 Capital agency.
The Supercopa will feature two games between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, on August 14 and 17. The game traditionally features the winners of the top-tier Liga and the Copa del Rey knockout tournament.
Barcelona won both tournaments last season, with Bilbao finishing as runner up in the Copa del Rey.
Emanuele Villari, head of sales and acquisitions in Europe at B4 Capital, said that he expected the deal to “signify the start of a long-term relationship between B4 Capital and La7.”
