Le Sports, which is operated by Chinese internet company LeEco, has agreed a three-season rights deal in Hong Kong for English club football knockout competition the FA Cup.
The contract will run across the 2016-17 to 2018-19 editions of the FA Cup. Asian magazine Marketing said Le Sports will commence its coverage of the FA Cup by broadcasting the remaining games from this season’s competition to Le VIP subscribers for free.
In September, the English Premier League confirmed an exclusive rights deal in Hong Kong with Le Sports which will also run for the three seasons from 2016-17 to 2018-19.
