French digital-terrestrial television channel L’Équipe 21 has acquired rights to Liga ACB, the top division of basketball in Spain.
The deal runs for three seasons, from 2015-16 through to 2017-18.
L’Équipe 21 will broadcast coverage of regular-season games as well as matches in the Supercopa de España de Baloncesto knockout cup competition.
Coverage will be available in France as well as in Monaco and French overseas territories.
Liga ACB this week also extended rights deals in Cyprus, Latvia and Lithuania.
