Nova Broadcasting Group, part of multi-territory commercial and pay-television broadcaster Modern Times Group, has agreed a three-season deal for rights in Bulgaria to Liga ACB, the top division of basketball in Spain.
Under the deal, Nova Sport will televise Liga ACB across its 2015-16 to 2017-18 seasons with the agreement representing the league’s first broadcast partnership in Bulgaria.
The Nova agreement further strengthens Liga ACB’s broadcast presence in Europe, where it holds partnerships in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Israel, Kosovo, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Monaco, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Sweden, Russia and Turkey.
