Liga MX secures Chilean rights deal

Chilean state broadcaster TVN has acquired rights to Liga MX, the top division of football in Mexico.

The length of the deal, which begins this Friday with coverage of the Apertura league tournament, has not been disclosed.

TVN said that it would show live coverage of games, but did not disclose when or how many matches would be broadcast.

Liga MX now features 18 players from Chile, including Cruz Azul stars Francisco Silva, Enzo Roco and Martin Rodriguez.
