Liv Sports acquires Champions Tennis League rights in India

Indian media group Multi Screen Media has announced that its Liv Sports digital arm has acquired online rights in the country for the new Champions Tennis League.

Under the deal, the terms of which were undisclosed, Liv Sports will stream live coverage of the tournament to audiences in India.

Viewers in the country will also be able to access video-on-demand highlights via Liv Sports.

Earlier this month, US pay-television broadcaster Tennis Channel also acquired rights in the country for the new tournament.

The inaugural edition of the tournament will take place from November 17 to 26 and will feature six city franchises across India. A total of 13 matches will take place, featuring the likes of Agnieszka Radwanska (pictured) and David Ferrer.
