Malaysian pay-television operator Astro has launched a pay-per-view sports offering for its Astro On-The Go service.
The Live Events service will enable customers to view a variety of live sports events while on the move via a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Initial events included in the service include badminton’s ongoing Sudirman Cup, which is priced at RM21 ((€5/$7), and Saturday’s Uefa Champions League football final, which is priced at RM12.
Astro said customers will not have to sign a contract for the service, while set-up and installation will not incur any additional costs.
